Recommended Mausoleums of Chu Kings

The Mausoleum of the King of Chu in Lion Mountain, located in the core area of the Han cultural scenic spot, is probably the owner of Liu Wu, the third generation of the King of Chu in the Western Han Dynasty. The mausoleum is peculiar in shape and huge in engineering. More than 2,000 sets of various precious cultural relics such as gold, silver, copper, iron, jade and pottery were unearthed in the mausoleum. The craftsmanship is exquisite and breathtaking. The Mausoleum of the King of Chu in Lion Mountain is the largest tomb of the Western Han Dynasty in Xuzhou with the most cultural relics and the highest historical value. Yanggui Mountain, located on the south side of the Mausoleum of the King of Chu, is inferred to be the tomb of the King and Queen of Chu. The tomb is exquisite in structure and complete in function, especially the whole mausoleum is painted in red and blue, and it is magnificent, which is only seen in the known tombs of the Han Dynasty. Due to the complexity of color protection technology, it has not yet been formally explored. Now there is a display pavilion of the Queen's Mausoleum, which displays the shape and structure of the tombs of the princes and queens of the Han Dynasty.
